This trick is available only for
some Canon inkjet printers.
Procedure:

- Power off the printer.
- Hold on the Power button and, without release it,
push 2 times the "Stop/reset" button.
- Release the Power button.
- The printer displays "0"
- Click on "+" to switch from "0" to
"1"
- Push the color button.
- Push the power button two times.
- Open the cover and remove the cartridges.
- Close the cover
- Power on the printer
