How to scan without cartridge

This trick is available only for some Canon inkjet printers.


Procedure:

• Power off the printer.
• Hold on the Power button and, without release it,  push 2 times the "Stop/reset" button.
• Release the Power button. 
• The printer displays "0"
• Click on "+" to switch from "0" to "1"
• Push the color button.
• Push the power button two times.
• Open the cover and remove the cartridges.
• Close the cover
• Power on the printer
