How to Solve Error E3 on Canon Printers



Error E3 is a jam error.

  • Power on the printer.
  • Open the door for a few seconds and do a print job.

Solution 2:
  • Check for any piece of paper in the printer.
  • After checking, install the paper and push the "Black" or "Color" Button.
  • Take a sheet of normal paper A4. fold it in two and still in two.
  • Power off the printer.
  • Insert the folded paper behind the printer.
  • Power on the printer. If there is a foreign object, it will be extrated by the folded paper.

Solution 4:
  • Push the red button during 5 seconds.

how to solve Canon MP287 with error code E08


This error appears with this message: The Ink Absorber is Almost Full
To solve this problem, you have to reset the waste ink counter.

Solution:
  • Turn on the printer.
  • The panel will display error E08, with message “The Ink Absorber is Almost Full”. 
  • Download the Resetter for MP287 
  • Printer must be in a state of Service Mode. 
  • Turn off the E08 error by pressing the power button. 
  • Do not unplug the power cord. 
  • Press and Hold the button Stop/Reset followed by pressing the Power button. 
  • Release the button Stop/Reset only.
  • Press the button Stop/Reset 6 times, then release both buttons simultaneously.
  • The printer MP287 will be in Service Mode. 
  • LCD Panel will blank / dark and in your computer will detect new hardware. Ignore it. 
  • Exctract and Run Service Tool for MP287 
  • Click on “Play”, then the printer will proceed and will print one page with the words “D = 000.0″ 
  • Click “Clear EEPROM”. Then click “EEPROM”, and the printer will print the results Resetter. Writing one line as follows: “TPage (COPY TTL = 00 000 = 00 000)”. 
  • Turn off by pressing the power. 
  •

how to Fix error E004 on canon printer IR1600



Solution:


Wiring
Is the connection of the connector (CN8) on the power supply PCB and the connector (J103) on the DC controller PCB and the wiring to the fixing assembly normal?
NO : Correct the connection and wiring.

Fixing assembly
Try replacing the fixing assembly.
 

Try repacking the power supply PCB. Is the fault corrected?
YES : End.
NO : Replace the DC controller PCB.

Error
With the power switch ON, clear E000 through E004; then, turn off and then on the power switch.
